Provided by YPmobileTry it out - I found Claibornes after a year of bad haircuts and awful color experiences in other salons all around Atlanta. If, like me, you don't want to look like a primped Buckhead Betty, then this is the place for you. They have clients of all ages and backgrounds, and the stylists know exactly how to *listen* and give you what you want. The colonists are fantastic, especially Morgan - in fact, ask for home straight off the bat. You won't be disappointed.

Provided by YP.comI went to this salon not expecting anything. I was very satified with my hair as well as the service I recieved. I went back a second time a got my hair colored it has lasted better and my hair feels better than at other salons. I was very HAPPY!!!!! I will be going back.

Provided by YP.comI spent over a year searching for a salon to do my hair and if you know anything about Atlanta and the surrounding areas you know there's hundreds of places to choose from. Let me tell you why I chose Claiborne's...First of all, I can ALWAYS get an appointment "at the last minute". The appointment coordinator, Keith is one in a million; always friendly and willing to do anything to help you. Secondly, the owner herself, is always at the salon - checking with each and every client to make sure they're happy and when she says she wants you 100% happy, she means it! But most importantly, my hairdresser is an expert in her field and you know it from the time she puts into her clients and the end results. This is a long standing, established business that has a large clientele, which I'm proud to say I'm one of. I have personally sent others to Clairborne's and have received many, many thank you's. If you're in the market for a salon that does great work, will treat you like royalty and never leave you unhappy, this is the place. By the way, Susan is my personal hair dresser and if you're looking for the best, ask for her.

Provided by YP.comI've been a client of this salon for almost a year. During that time I have gone from being extremely happy with my haircut to being very disappointed. I think a major issue with this place is consistency. They've obviously done something right along the way or they wouldn't have the clientele they do. Unfortunately, people get lazy and think no matter what, you'll stick with them. Maybe when hairdressers lose clients and feel it in their wallets, they will try to do a better job. I'm in the process of looking for another place now.

Provided by YP.comI had a terrible, terrible experience at this salon. They burned my bangs off by leaving on a flat iron for too long - it literally was burned off and that had NEVER happened to me before. They did a weird comb-over with tons of gel to conceal the damage, but of course I figured it out.
They called to follow up and I told them what happened. They offered me a free haircut, but I was wary. When I went to get it, they hardly spoke to me and were very unfriendly, like they were doing me a favor. There was nothing they could do to blend the tiny spokes of hair in with the rest of my mid-length hair, so it was pointless anyway, really.
The worst part is that it took 8+ months to grow my hair back out, so I was wearing lots of hats. I went to talk to them after about 5 months about helping to buy a hairpiece or offset the cost of the hats, and they called another person in the room and stood over me for an hour, calling me a liar, accusing me of burning off my own hair so I could get money from them (sure, like I'd burn off my own hair and wait 6 months to ask for a hairpiece or hats), that I'd have to take them to court. I never took them to court but I sure want other people to know that these are some bad people who do terrible work. PLEASE just go down the road and use another salon because I'd hate for them to do anything like this to someone else.

Provided by YP.comI knew exactly what I wanted when I went in. I told the girl what I wanted and when she made suggestions, I told her no, but she did what she wanted and my hair turned out so bad I left in tears. It was cut so short and a hideous color. A friend of mine thought it wouldn't happen twice and tried out the place and it happened to her also. Not a good place to go.
