Provided by YP.comBoth of my children have been with Cobb Peds since birth. My son is now 14 and my daughter 12. My son was taken care of my Dr. Gluckman before he left the practice, and Dr. Forbes has taken over the care of my daughter. I have never once in the 14 years I have been taking my children to these doctors had a problem with misdiagnosis or rude staff members. Everyone has always been very warm and pleasant to me and my children. My daughter is ADHD positive and requires ALOT of extra special attention when she sees Dr. Forbes and he has never let us down. He is very attentive and communicative with her and values her input on her visits. If I ever had a problem with any of the doctors or staff, all I had to do was say something and it was quickly and professionally taken care of. We have been with this practice since they were located in Austell closer to my home, and alot of changes have been made since 14 years ago, but I will continue to take my children in to see these doctors because they are familiar with them and they are very professional.

Provided by YP.comMissed a diagnosis on my 9 month old, extremely long wait times and rude front staff. I have been with this practice for four years and am finally moving on because I just can't take the way the business is run. I have had earlier appointments than others and they have been seen first, but my major issue was with a misdiagnosis on my 9 month old. I brought my two kids in and they were tested for strep. The older one had the baby tested negative. The NP asked us to make an appt the next day and come in to have the strep test done again. My husband brought her in, saw a different NP that did not even do the test, just said she had something viral and there was nothing they could do. On day 3, when my baby was screaming uncontrollably, I called the office and demanded to speak with a doctor because the staff was telling me it was viral. I pushed to get her back in and they tested her and found a UTI. If you are going to use this practice, you need to make sure that you are on top of everything.
I have also had appointments scheduled SPECIFICALLY with a doctor and the NP is the one that comes in the room to take the appointment. The whole reason I wait and schedule them with a doctor is to actually see the doctor. It's unprofessional!
