Provided by YPmobileThey must not pay their wait staff very well, they have a tendency to beg for tips. If you don't tip well they will insult you.

Provided by YPmobileWe have given this place several tries. Your best meal is either a dessert or breakfast. If you want your eggs cooked a certain way, this is not the place to go. I had ordered my eggs a certain way. (Medium) They were wrong three times. The server informed us that they have a hard time cooking eggs in the back. That is one of the first things you learn in culinary school. I have ordered the steak, and it has come out twice over cooked. The second time the manager stood over me until I cut it open. I explained to him the state has to rest at least five minutes before you cut it open otherwise all the juices come out. Finally I just cut the steak opening well all the juices came out it was a dry overcooked mess. On the positive side, the baklava is delicious. You get a small plate of spanakopita when you sit down. It is homemade it is delicious. The restaurant itself is pretty cool, the food is subpar.

Provided by YP.comMarietta Diner in Marietta GA is a diner open 24 hrs with so many options, Insalata Venice was a great option for me when needing a salad, but not wanting a lot of things I could not eat on it (no dairy or salty meats). Frankly the best and most consistent items are the desserts.

Provided by YP.comMarietta Diner is a great family-friendly place. Kids receive fun chef hats to color and all meals come with complimentary spanakopita and fresh bread. The menu is huge and there’s always something for everyone. It has a lot of Greek and Mediterranean dishes. It’s not your typical “diner.” It’s also famous for an extremely large display of equally gigantic cakes, which makes it a fun option for birthday dinners.

Provided by YP.comJust because Guy went, doesn't mean that you should.
This place was horrible. We had always wanted to try it and for our "date" my husband and I went. And now we wish we hadn't. The service was awful, the food was mediocre at best, bathrooms were filthy, and the wait staff spent more time socializing, eating, and putting their hands on their face and in their mouth. As someone who used to work in the food service industry, and was Serve Safe certified, I know things that most people don't and trust me that's NASTY!! My husband got some kind of lasagna that came with a salad, the salad came out on a nasty plate, and we know they saw it because they put the crackers on top of it! Then the waitress we had basically told us that we either take this one or we don't get one. His lasagna had so much cinnamon in it that it should have been a desert, it was awful! I had a club sandwich, the bottom piece of toast was burnt, but other than that it was okay. When the waitress refilled my tea, it might as well have been water. There was no tea taste to it. And when the items on the menu average 10-20 dollars, this place was lousy. I would not advise anyone to waste their time or money. And in addition to all of the problems at the table, I went to the restroom, which not only did it need cleaning, it smelled like someone had just gotten a perm and dirty diapers from the changing table. No one had emptied the trash, and they didn't even bother to refill the soap they just put out some oversized soap containers. Please, save your money!!....I also don't think that the diner deserves a star, but since I have to put at least one, I did.

Provided by YP.comFor a first timer to Marietta Diner, it may take you ten minutes just to glance over the menu. They have a very wide variety of food ranging from the simple but, delicious french toast to the more complicated paella, a scrumptous Spanish seafood dish. The chefs at Marietta Diner can take the simplest dish and turn it into a feast fit for a king. Don't believe me? Try the tuna melt. Their servings are large enough for two. But, they are great warmed up the next day. So take half of your dinner home and that way you have room for the melt in your mouth dessert. I have eaten there for a few years now and I can tell you that there is no place better. The owner and his staff are always on hand to greet customers and make sure you are getting the best service possible. So for reliability of outstanding service and food make sure Marietta Diner becomes your neighborhood favorite.
