Marietta Martial Arts is dedicated to providing a safe and family-oriented Martial Arts experience for students of all ages 4 and up. We promote physical fitness and positive social interaction in a courteous and fun atmosphere. Our greatest responsibility is to instill a sense of discipline and a code of ethics to inspire students to lead exemplary lives as leaders in the community. Students of Martial Arts have many reasons for their interest in training with martial arts. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. Others are concerned about safety and self-defense. Whether you are interested in our programs for mental or physical well being, Marietta Martial Arts offers a number of programs that will fit your developmental needs and your busy schedule. We know you will find your experience with our school a positive and rewarding journey. We use the kicking & punching in Karate to have fun but more importantly, we use the fun to develop FOCUS and to improve self-Confidence. Instructors emphases that students always do their best. Providing your Best Effort when trying something new is more important than having good technique. All classes are taught with age appropriate techniques. Generally, kids age 4 & older are very successful in developing the Future Black Belt Behavior (Respect, Focus, Self-discipline) which is taught in every class. Adult classes are taught separate from the kids, so parents can also train. The family environment that we have within the classes. Martial Arts is one of the few activates that kids & their parents enjoy training together. Personally, I have had the pleasure of training with my 2 kids for over 6-yrs. This is the only job that I've been able to take my kids to work.

GReat experience for my son...

Since he has been enrolled at Marietta Martial Arts, maybe a little over a year now, I definitely see that he has become more social and not so much in his shell, if you would say. And I believe he carries a level of confidence that I didn’t see prior to this so I’m extremely excited about it, you know, I just really love Marietta Martial Arts!

Well, for my older son, Carson, the program has helped with his self-discipline and following through with things. He does not lack in confidence, so his benefit he’s received has mostly been with respect towards others, with himself, also self-management. And for my younger son, Clay, I think the program has benefited him more with his self-confidence because he’s very capable, but he gets frustrated real easily and gets down on himself and so I think his self-confidence has increased and it has been, for both of them, it’s beneficial by just getting along with others, working with others, and not giving up is a big thing. And we have also used things that we’ve learned at Marietta Martial Arts at home, as far as saying ‘Are you acting like a future Black Belt?’ and also can apply some of these techniques to talk to them about school as well.

Our son's teacher told us that he would not stay focused in class and he was becoming very disruptive so we enrolled our him into Marietta Martial Arts because a good friend really recommended MMA.  Wow.  They have been great with our son and his last report showed major improve both in grades and behavior.  Thank You Marietta Martial Arts
