I had an infection on top of my head from something falling on me. There was a little redness and swelling. I went in to the minute clinic early I was there when they were supposed to open. No one was there, so I went and got breakfast. I came back and the nurse was there. There were no other patients but for some reason I had to wait about 15 minutes before she would see me. She immediately said that she can't do anything for me because there is infection on my head. She told me to go to urgent care and I did. Urgent care prescribed an antibiotic. Exactly what I told the nurse from the minute clinic.
Then I received a bill from the minute clinic for $99. I called and asked what they did to deserve any money. They said that they saw me, and that is $99. No treatment whatsoever but I had to pay them $99 or they would report it on my credit. She said if you go to the emergency room you would have to pay. I told her that I would get treated at an emergency room. Thanks CVS Minute Clinic.
