I was having some A/C troubles. I took it to them after a recommendation from my girlfriend. Her family seemed to trust them so I though I would give them a shot. This is the most honest repair shop I have ever worked with. Fair work for a fair price with no BS. I generally never trust anyone with my car. 99% of the time I work on my car myself. I have 2002 Trans Am with a motor I built myself, replaced the carpet, installed the stereo, suspension etc. (long list) myself. For the first time I have found someone that I would trust to do it repairs for me.

Had 2 service centers look at my car and did not know what was going on; I didn't want to go to Volvo because they charge out of the rear for servicing. Took my Volvo to Protech and got it all figured out. It would have been about $1100 but I only paid like $877!!! EXCELLENT service; Chip called me to update me often and was completely honest. I have several friends with nice, foreign cars and they use Chip & Drew at Protech as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO HERE. GREAT GUYS, GREAT PRICES!!!

I had taken my chevy truck in to J & J Automotive after taking it to 3 other local shops to find a coolant leak. After spending almost $1200.00 between the other shops and nothing was fixed I took it over to J & J. They only had my truck for 2 hrs and called me to tell me what was wrong. I have to admit I was not sure if they had checked it very well due to the fact that the other shops kept it for days before they called to tell me what they thought was wrong. I have to say that the owner was the one that checked my truck and said it was only a hose leak. So I told him to go ahead and fix it and he told me that it would be ready by the end of the day. That has been almost 5 weeks ago and still have not had to put any coolant in my truck! This guy really does know what he is doing and will not charge you for things that dont need to be done and to top that off he did not have any problem explaning exactly what he did to find the leak, fix the leak and answer all the other questions I had. Please take it from me that by far this is the best shop that I have ever been to and the only shop that will ever fix my vehicles.
