I travel for work & as any woman, I like to look my best especially when meeting new clients. I heard of Sheena through a friend, checked out her social media account where I saw a link to Style Seat in order to make appointments. I liked what I saw, so on May 25, 2018, I booked an appointment for Sunday, June 3rd with Sheena.
I was excited about forming this relationship especially since she offers her services on a Sunday. I received a confirmation email. And, a couple days before the appointment, I received an email reminder of my upcoming services. My appt. was at 2pm. In short, that particular Sunday I wasn't feeling very well as my Aunt Flo was visiting. However, I drove 38 miles one-way to get to Marietta, and arrived at 1:55pm. After walking into the salon, I knew something was wrong because a stylist look puzzled, almost embarrassed, when I questioned her facial expression. I said with a smile, Sheena must not be here? She confirmed Sheena was not at work. The young lady asked me to take a seat. I did. A few moments later, she hands me her cell phone and I said hello? Sheena begins to talk fast, made 2 excuses in a 10 second span of time.
Me: Hello?
S: Hi, did you get my message?
Me: No.
S: I charge an extra $20 on Sundays, & I wanted to know if that was OK with you. I sent it a couple days ago.
Me: No, I received two emails from Style Seat. A confirmation & a reminder. And, what's the total now? (I'm thinking she's clearly at home, but wants to still charge me an extra 20)
S: I'm guessing, but $115? Don't quote me. My Style Seat account is not set up either. So I do not receive messages.
Me: How were you notified of my appointment?
S: Do you want to reschedule?
Me: Sure. (not)
I drove 38 miles back home, my hair undone, and a flight to catch at 9am on Monday. She had the audacity to charge me $20 but she was a no call no show. She had me scrambling Sunday evening to look presentable to clients on Monday. She apologized once: Sorry -- before hanging up.

She cut off my hair! Was not what I asked for! Staff are unprofessional ghetto and loud! Very unpleasant and will not recommend or return! Very disappointed in my services after cutting half of my hair off! Waiting in the shampoo bowl for a while and they are so busy taking pictures of clients hair and not focusing on the customers! Slow and makes you wait trying to get as many people as she can,just to make you get there and she is busy just starting a clients hair! The back of my hair was longer check the top! And now look at the back! Even though it will grow back don’t let this lady play in your own hair cause her skills on 0!
