Smith Accounting has provided bookkeeping and accounting services for small business clients and churches since 1990. Subsequent years as a Staff Accountant for Certified Public Accounting firms are an essential asset to our success. We have over 28 years of experience and dedicated service in accounting and financial management. Our mission is to provide quality accounting services with a client-centered philosophy. Our goal is to improve our client's financial management position, enhance methods and procedures with a team approach and empower knowlege of compliance as it relates to local, state and federal regulations. We are a professional and detail oriented organization that has demonstrated leadership and highly effective organization in the area of accounting and financial management. Accounting for businesses often do not require the services of a CPA; however, should you retain a CPA, we can provide full-charge accounting independent of the CPA's involvement. This assures independency on the part of your CPA and minumizes the amount of work they would need to perform. Normally, you would retain a CPA for financial planning purposes, complex taxmatters and if your business is required to report to the SEC or if third party users of financial statements require them to be audited or reviewed. We maintain professional working relationships and accountability with several Certified Public Accountants. However, we will be happy to work with your chosen CPA or tax preparer to maximize your cost savings and accounting fees. Our services include all required government reporting.
