A few months ago we purchased a large load of new-open box computers from TBF Computing. Problems arose from the moment the products reached our dock doors, and we have been trying to work with TBF to resolve these issues since, to no avail.

First, after inventorying the computers based on the manifest, we realized TBF shorted us over 70 computers. We contacted our sales rep Mike Roetzer immediately only to be met with the answer that “the load matched the manifest exactly, it is impossible that our team made any errors”. No effort was made to rectify the discrepancy even after multiple emails and calls with Mike and the owner Theo Furber.

Furthermore, the conditions of the computers we received ranged from new to heavily used, a far stretch from the 95% new product we were promised.

Around this time we also realized that around 80 computers had hardware issues or missing parts. As agreed upon, and stated in our invoice, these computers were covered under warranty through TBF Computing. When we sent the detailed manifest of the issues, they instructed us to fix the computers ourselves using parts from other broken computers. This of course is a total misrepresentation of a warranty, so we offered to send these back to TBF for repair, or use a local repair shop to fix the warranty computers. They have not responded to either of these reasonable options.

This entire process has been riddled with misrepresentation and lies on the part of TBF Computing. Companies that operate in this manner simply give the industry a bad name. Hopefully sharing our experience will help another company avoid making the mistake of working with TBF computing.

TBF Computing is spamming me to death. Over 150 eMails of spam in 1+ month. Didn't provide our eMail to them. Not doing business with them. Highly illegal sales tactics.
