I recently quit being a patient there. On my last visit I was denied service because they had instituted a new policy within the previous six weeks and not bothered to notify me about it. This new policy requires patients having certain insurances to provide proof that they have paid their insurance premium for that month. If you don't have written proof then you will not be seen. They tried to blame this on the Affordable Care Act but that is not true. I work in healthcare and know this is false. My insurance company was flabbergasted when I told them about it. I was told they phoned the practice to get an explanation but were spoken to rudely then hung up on.

They also want you to pay a $25 annual fee to fill out forms. I never had any forms to be filled out. This fee does not cover the cost of transferring your records to another doctor. That costs extra despite the fact that all the "paperwork" is electronic and can be sent electronically to another doctor.
