Vincent's closed.
When we frequented this place it was great. Sometimes service was slow or irregular but for the most part good. I will miss the food.

Nice place for dinner. They removed the lunch special on Sundays, boo. The garlic knots are pretty good. Overall, it's a nice Italian restaurant with a ample seating.

Disappointment!!!! We have been eating at this restaurant for over 1 year, almost on a weekly basis. While the food is not great, it is good and the atmosphere is nice. The waiters are cordial and friendly. Today, we went and order one of our usual meals, Chiopino, and it was awful. In the past, Chipino brought a variety of seafood, including, mussels, calamari, shrimp, clams, fish.... in a delicate spicy red sauce Today, the sauce was heavy and gross, and the plate had no calamari, or mussels. Furthermore, the "manager" , who is the first time we saw him, stopped by other tables and walked by ours without even asking how was the food. We now there was a new supervisor on the floor who previously was a waiter, but did not asked us about how was the food either. I do not know if these "managers" did not stopped by the table and asked about the food because they heard us speaking in Spanish(at least the new floor supervisor who knew and served us before, knew we spoke Spanish) or because they knew the poor quality of food they served since the Chiopino was missing ingredients. Notwithstanding the poor quality and missing ingredients on the Chipino, we were charged the full price.

This is a perfect place for a fair number of groups. They have the best food to have an Italian feast! The food is fresh and tastes like there could be no tomorrow, the fantastic thing about this place is the decoration, we felt like we were in a quaint Italian kitchen.

So my wife and I have been driving by:

Vincent's Italian Restaurante

3412 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, Marietta, GA 30064-1835

for months and on Jan. 4, 2014 we decided to pull in and give it a try, we should have just driven on and got Taco Bell.

We sit down and look at the menu and my wife tells me what she wants and goes to the restroom. The waitress comes by and asks if we should wait and I told her no that my wife would like the eggplant parm and I would like the spaghetti and meat sauce and that we would like the cheese sticks.

So after five minutes the waitress brings out 2 plates and leaves them on the table. After another 5 to 10 minutes and the waitress coming by twice and asking how things are, (we had no food). The second time the waitress came by my wife suggested that maybe we could get our salads and bread that came with the meals we had ordered. Finally the cheese sticks arrive and are cold. After another 5 minutes we got our salad and bread and you know what it was salad and bread, nothing to write home about.

After another 2 to 3 visits and being told on the 3rd one that we had 5 more minutes to wait. (time in restaurant is 30 to 40 minutes) our meals arrived. I will tell you this, the bowl that held my spaghetti and the plate with my wife’s eggplant were warm, but sadly that was all that was warm. I stuck my finger into my meat sauce after the first bite and stirred it around. My wife’s food was also cold so I looked around to get someone’s attention.

I caught 2 gentlemen who were walking in the vicinities’ eye and waved, they proceeded to walk past my table and then after a minute or so one of them came back and asked if there was a problem. I informed him that the food was cold. After touching the warm plates he said he could have them reheated. My wife said that she did not like the taste and reheating was not an option and I said if she is not going to get hers reheated then I did not want mine either, (the food tasted mediocre at best). The manager takes the food away and comes back a minute later. He asks if this was our first time at the restaurant and we said yes and then he looked at me and asked if I had a problem with my food because my waitress was black. At this point I start to get upset and he asked if I was upset about the food and I said ‘no I am upset about you calling me a racist’ He stated that there was nothing wrong with the food. So the only reason that I could have a problem with his restaurant is because I am racist. I guess serving cold food is just par for the course in NY (which is plastered all over the place). I have been to NY City and Long Island and never had a problem with bad service or cold food that was not rectified when pointed out.

So I said just bring me the bill so we can leave. He comes back and has taken away our entrées and added salad and bread @ $5.99 each and the bill comes out to $20 bucks. My wife asked to speak to the owner and he said he was the owner and his name was Paul. She asked his last name but was told she did not need to know. I paid the $ 20 bucks not because I felt he earned it and definitely the food did not earn it but because I probably would have floored him if I stayed there another minute.

So if you like slow service and by slow I mean glacial, mediocre food and being asked if you are a racist when the food doesn’t meet your standards. Then Vincent’s Italian Restaurant is where you need to go and eat.

My family and I went to Vincen...

My family and I went to Vincents for dinner. The service was very slow and the waitress was very rude, didn't say much in the way of greeting us at the table.I spoke to the manager on duty on the way out the door about how rude she was and his response was "REALLY" that's all!!!!!! I agree with the other review about no going back there are way to many pleasant restaurants to eat at around the same area where you get treated like we really want your business!!!!!

Even if the food was food (and it wasn't, my husband and I left hungry) we wouldn't go back because eveyone from the hostess to the guy in charge is incredibly rude! When we told the guy that was either the manager or the owner that we didn't like the food in a polite manner he started yelling at us in front of everyone saying words I hoped my child would never hear, he even followed us to our car yelling at us, what ever happened to customer service, or even just being a decent person?

Hands down the best italian in Georgia. My wife and I are from Boston(the north end) and have not had good italian until we tried vincent's last month. Every thing was exceptional from salad/bread to this homemeade fried cheese the owner personally made for us(for our first visit) to the veal marsala to the creme 'brulle and berries for dessert. However, I did not write this review after that visit but probably after the 5th visit I decided to give some feed back. Vincent's hade a beef braciole special(something i haven't had in years; it is a very old fashion italian dish. I expressed to the server how great it was. He told me that the family has a braciole list in the office and would i like to be on it? So I wrote down my number. Sure enough my phone rings that weekend "Just wanna let u know we made a braciole today. I thought that was great! So I decided to write this review. In this era of corporate/chains, a small/family business still lives and still cares SO BRAVO! Keep it up

The best italian food around. My wife and I are from New York(Quenns) both Italian and haven't hade good Italian food in Marietta until we started dining at vincent's 5 months ago. We go every week and try something new every time. There specials are great always changing from different fresh fishes to bowtie pastas, to the most famous beef braciole(have to be from New York to know). It is hard however to get away from the veal gorgonzola my favorite YUM! They just recently remodeled and the atmosphere is better than ever. The service is perfect unlike most chain restaurants. And unlike most chain restaurants you feel more than welcomed(at home almost)the owner is always there greeting and talking to all the tables(which you rarely see at other restaurants) We are told the family(owners) are from New Jersey and you can tell the second you walk in the place. We tell are friends back home we had to come all the way to ga for real italian food. And trust me as a New Yorker that says a lot

This place has some serious problems. I called a moment ago and talked to the owner, Paul just to ask questions about the restaurant; had never heard of it before and saw an ad in the Savy Shopper magazine. Because I was simply asking a question, he very rudely called me several ugly names, something to the effect of "no life pathetic person with nothing to do" and that I should not call his restaurant to ask the questions I was asking. By the way, the question only pertained to the ad in the magazine. I called back, thinking I must have misunderstood something. However, he then told me that if I called back again, he had my number from *69 and he would call the police. Folks, I have never in all my life had anyone do this because you call their restaurant to get information before placing an order. I called Cobb County Police myself to report the incident the moment after Paul, the owner of this restaurant, hung up on me. I will never set foot at this place. He is rude and obviously has some kind of mental disorder and instability to behave this way when a a patron calls his restaurant. This posting required me to post at least one star, however ZERO stars is most appropriate. Scratch them *OFF* the list for Italian restaurants. Don't even consider going here unless you are prepared to be treated in the most RUDE manner, if they serve you at all.

One of our favorite places for a casual dinner in West Cobb. Great food and great service. Atmosphere is very casual and a bit outdated, but in my opinion, the cuisine makes up for it. It is a great place for an inpromptu dinner. We have ordered take out and always received our order exactly as placed, hot and on time. The only thing we have not been especially pleased with was the pizza.... but we are VERY picky about our pizza!

Great family friendly restaurant. Excellent food and good wait staff. If you live in West Cobb, this is a good choice for homemade Italian food. Forget the big chain Italian places, your money will be better spent here.

Cheerful servers, excellent chef, clean, great specials

Only 1 negative from me - parmesan cheese is on the table in a shaker (like a pizzeria). This restaurant is too nice for that.
