I moved here from Chattanooga, TN. I relocated to Atlanta for a job & I was very excited about living in a new city but so nervous at the same time. I found Wirks Moving and Storage through Google and I gave them a call. I couldn't afford much for my move but they worked with me. They told me everything I needed to know about how I should make my move easy on me. They gave me packing tips and suggestions on everything. I packed a couple items but they packed some other things for me. I really appreciate everyone in the office that helped me out b/c these was very stressful for me. Wirks arrived on time and the guys were so kind. They did a great job on my move. The only thing I did have damage to my table but I know accidents happen & I made sure I selected an insurance coverage option they had. I filled out a claim form & it was handled quickly. I will make sure I tell my friends and family about this company if they ever need a mover. Thanks so much guys!

If you want to know how good a moving company truly is, don't just ask about the move itself but find out if a claim was filed, how it was handled. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever used and they have a DREADFUL approach to customer relations!

Wirks Movers were polite and hard working! They moved a client of mine who had ALOT of antiques. They did a great job. All items arrived safely to her new home in another state. They also were in charge of my move a week later. I chose them because I saw what a good job they had done for my client !! Many thanks to Wirks !

Wirks made the move from Georgia to Florida as easy as they could considering the distance. From the initial contact through to the delivery in Fl, all that we came in contact with we're absolutely superb...

From Jim's initial visit and his willingness to work with me a bit on price, to the packers, loaders, and unloaders, all went as well as possible. We had a hassle free move with nice, personable service. And considering the number of stair in both homes, they worked REALLY hard!!!

If you discover that you need movers to assist in a move, I highly recommend Wirks. I discovered them through one of many flyers once the house was listed. I called many moving firms but ultimately decided on Wirks because they took the time to help me understand the finer points of information I needed: storage unit size, flexibility in move date, family company with movers permanently on staff, etc. There price was spot on and when the movers arrived they could not have been more professional and helpful. It was a worry-free move and they did a fabulous job. I would not hesitate to use them again.

They were great to work with and very reasonably priced. We had some problems with our closing and Jim was flexible with keeping our things on the truck. Both the packing and delivery groups were kind and respectful. I hope I do not move again for a long time but if I do I will for sure call these guys! V.DuVal

We moved from metro Atlanta to a small town in East Tennessee. Wirks moving and storage were great. They gave us a guaranteed price that was very competitive. We were on the cusp of one large truck or 2 smaller ones. They sent a large truck with a trailer in case we needed it--and we did. No delays. We had one packing crew in Atlanta and another crew in Tennessee, but the same supervisor in both locations. The move went very smooth, on time with no damages. We really enjoyed working with them and would hire them again--although I hope we never have to move again!!

I used them to go from Atlanta GA to Southport NC. They were great! They are very professional and easy to work with. They were extremely careful with my furniture and careful with my house. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them again.

Wirks Moving and Storage came out to do a move from my 7th story condo, into a temporary, ranch style house. A gentleman from Wirks Moving came over and built a customized quote with the furniture I had.



The movers called me 30 min. before the scheduled move to confirm they would be on time to my condo. They arrived and proceeded to wrap EVERY SINGLE piece of furniture to ensure nothing was damaged. The move went perfect. Everyone was polite, efficient, and most importantly, careful with my belongings.



I was so happy with the move, a month later I scheduled them to move me again from the house, to my apartment and once again, the movers were AWESOME.



I couldn't be happier with their work. I will most definitely use them on my next move!!!!!!!!!!!

Wirks Moving & Storage was concerned about the details of my move, making sure to get all of the information correct. That is so rare today. I was extremely pleased with the Wirks Moving Team. The Sales Rep was efficient and his estimate was within 15m of the total move time. I selected the fixed-rate option, which made the move completely non-stress.

The movers called about 30m in advance, and showed up exactly on time. They were careful with all my furniture, and there was no damage to walls or floors.

I went with Wirks Moving and Storage, after meeting with two other moving companies before deciding to use them, because they offered me a fixed quote for my entire move along with packing all of my items and they presented themselves very well and kept me well informed throughout entire moving process from meeting the sales rep to the unpacking team. They did what they said they were going to do and made the entire process as simple and easy as possible. I'll be using them again for my next move and I've already referred them to 3 other people. This is the most amazing moving company!!!! I would use them for any move and I am this is the second time I have used them. You can trust this company I have never seen such a moving company who could make me feel safe and secure and feel the price is right. I really hope you give them a chance to prove themselves, then you would be like me and only use them forever in the future... The owner, the office, the movers really are personally the greatest and business wise the best!!! I love this company would never use anyone else... Give it a try you won't be disappointed... I never write reviews for anyone buttt the best and that is what they are... :) :)

Wirks Moving and Storage damaged the flooring at both the old and new house and claimed it was old damage."His son went and took a look at the old house and said it was old damage. "He's been in the business long enough to know", per Mr. Wirks.



Both floors are damaged because the movers slid a large frig. across both kitchen floors using moving blankets.



Mr. Wirks and E. McNabb need to man up and take on some responsibility for their company's actions.
