Provided by YPmobileThe Fried Seafood Platter was horrible. I got a piece of cod fish that was hard and not edible and the coconut shrimp was fried too hard. I would come to Killer Shrimp when they were on Washington Bl. And never had the bad service I had here today. Manager was made aware and she didn't seem to care or ask if she can make it better or offer a fresh one. The kids sliders even sucked for my daughter. Service was so slow today and waitress was not attentive. They weren't even busy. I guess it's better if you order the Original Killer Shrimp Bowl and that's it. It's not worth coming it's over priced.

Provided by YPmobileThe killer shrimp house was hot and nasty. It presents as a bar like environment with a view of a yaht as thebackdrop. The shrimp was hot and greasy without a taste except the graeese from the fake reduction. It was a waste of 60.09 for me and my family.Don't Do It!

Provided by YP.comThey have only 3 things on the menu. Shrimp with Rice, Shrimp with Spaghetti and the Original. Unlimited bread comes with the Original, which is a Shrimp stew (they don't skimp on the shrimp). Service is average. Prices are good. Ambiance is a little too dark for a place like this.

Provided by YP.comWell I don't know that there is enough I can say about this restaurant- One of the best ever. I guess that sums it up.
I am not a seafood fan. I really don't care for seafood at all. My boss introduced me to Killer Shrimp in 2004 at a co-workers birthday luncheon - and I got hooked the first time.
Their signature style cajun broth is really one of a kind. You can comb restaurants throughout Los Angeles and you just won't find anything like it.
KillerShrimp is my second favorite food in the Universe. My first favorite is the now defunct "Watermelon Ribs from the Hard Rock Cafe." How is it that every single time you find something you really like - it disappears? It's kind of frustrating.
If you don't know, unless things changed recently that I don't know about, Killer Shrimp is closed. First, somehow sometime in 2007 they closed their Valley location and then earlier this year they closed their Marina Del Rey location. I am devasted. Where did we go wrong? What can we do to help?
Although the Killer Shrimp office in Marina Del Rey states they are now closed and will eventually reopen - we all need to call and let them know that they need to reopen.
I need for Killer Shrimp to get re-opened (preferably in the Valley near the Van Nuys area - would be nice). I feel like I am going through withdrawl now. I used to look forward to their food made perfect everytime.
Any other fans out there - that feel the same way I feel? Help me - help them - inspire them - to get back open! In a troubled economy - we all need to eat everyday - every single one of us. That can never change. If somehow someway we help get the word out (once they reopen) - they should be flooded with business.
Life would be so much better if I knew they were there. OPEN- in business - Seriously - this is a big deal.
If you, the owner of Killer Shrimp can read this - what will it take? What can we do to help. Your fans are patiently waiting your reopening.

Provided by YP.comI have been going to Killer Shrimp since the late 90's and it has never disappointed me. The ambiance is great whether day or night. I have seen people in shorts and deck shoes and have seen nice, casual dress. The service is fabulous and they always provide great attention to your needs, while also providing you ‘space’ to enjoy for dining experience.
There have been a couple times, where the sauce may be ‘spicy’, but that is part of the overall experience and allure of the place.
If you are in the area and craving Great Shrimp, I recommend stopping by.
