Artist, Armella M. Dana has been birthing artist teddy bears and other critters, including moose, mice, and bunnies, since 1992. All creations are the work of the artist alone, producing one-of-a-kind pieces and limited editions, created in "character" and "antique" styles, with sculpting, staining, and pose-able armature. Special orders can be birthed and familial heirloom pieces will be created from family fur coats. Unique and playful are the words most often associated with Armella's creations. Armella teaches weekly workshops in making Heirloom bears. Those interested in learning the techniques to birthing and, even designing quality teddy bears, can arrange special multi-day workshops with accommodations with Armella.
