Provided by YP.comI went in with a bad flasher relay. Technician searched for the relay without using any sort of equipment or diagram and changed the wrong relay. I was told that the next step was to change the turn signal switch. I was given a quote of $220. $120 for the part and approx $100 for labor. At this point I was not told or given the option to let them run more diagnostics to ensure that this action would fix the problem or that this was the actual problem. They told me then, and in the past that they do not mark up parts. "That's not how we make our money". Based on what their next action, I went to advanced auto parts(the same parts store that delivered the relay that they installed)and purchased a turn signal switch that was about $65. Thats half the price of parts that they quoted. I then changed the switch, making no difference. The turn signals still did not work. Not trusting godspeed after that, I took my vehicle to another local mechanic. The tech at this establishment went to my car with a couple of tools and a simple volt meter and after about 5 min he had the bad flasher relay in his hand. He ordered the part and had it there in 15 min. After changing the part the car was fixed. The point is that godspeed was just throwing parts at it one at a time with no sort of diagnostic equipment and wanted to charge me for each one. They never offered to refund any money for their mistake. All they offered me was $10 dollars refund for a part that they charged me $16, and no refund on labor that was $10. Came to about $30. Not to mention that they also cleaned up my throttle body and double charged me for carb cleaner. Listed as $5.95 for shop supplies and another $5.95 for hazardous materials that they didn't even have to dispose of. $12 for maybe $0.50 worth of carb cleaner. This is not my idea of good business.

Provided by YP.comNorm wrecked my van when he was test driving it. He was looking at a piece of test equipment in the van and rear ended someone. The van was totaled. I am out a good vehicle and had to replace it with a much newer one because I need seating for 6 and i could not find a comparable van. Norm was not nice at all to my wife and was not very sincere in his apology to me. I will never go back. Peoples tru character shows through when things go wrong and Norm is not someone that is to be trusted.
