Green acres has been nothing but fantastic to us. We just moved across the country and needed storage and truck rental while sorting out living situations. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the facilities (Cedar Rapids) are well maintained. I highly recommend Green Acres to anyone needing storage or truck rental.

I'd rate this ZERO if I had the option. My property was damaged as a result of Green Acres pushing snow against the door. When the snow melted, the water ran into my unit, I was not notified even though they were aware other units around me which had damage. They refuse to pay for my damaged property making it necessary for me to file suit. They claim their contract releases them of ALL responsponsibility, even negligence. If you value your property, you will store your property someplace other than Green Acres. BE AWARE: Even though I DID have Renter's Insurance, it does not cover water damage. Green Acres refuses to do the right thing and pay for my destroyed property without going through the court. I'm not sure what part of "CLIMATE CONTROLLED" doesn't include water and black and red mold!

CAUSED WATER DAMAGE TO MY PROPERTY AFTER PUSHING SNOW AGAINST DOOR. PAID NEARLY $200 A MONTH FOR " CLIMATE CONTROL" AND ENDED UP WITH SOAKED, MOLDY PROPERTY. GREEN ACRES CLAIMS THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE WHAT-SO-EVER, EVEN IF CAUSED BY THEIR NEGLIGENCE. GO ELSEWHERE, IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY!

THIS SHOULD GET ZWEO STARS BUT IT WASN'T AN OPTION!!! MY PROPERTY WAS DESTROYED FROM WATER DAMAGE AFTER THIS COMPANY PLOWED SNOW IN FRONT OF THE DOORS, THEN MELTED AND RAN UNDER THE WALLS. THE ADMIT THEY WERE IN FACT AT FAULT BUT CLAIM THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OF ANY KIND TO PROPERTY STORED IN THEIR UNITS, EVEN IF IT IS DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY. I PAID NEARLY $200 A MONTH FOR "CLIMATE CONTROL" AND ENDED UP WITH A UNIT FULL OF MOLD COVERED PROPERTY THAT HAD TO BE DESTROYED. WHAT A JOKE! A CLAIM WILL BE FILED IN COURT.
