Problem solving is in his blood. He has a profound understanding of all things mechanical and electrical. Jyl is a classically trained jazz vocalist who realized very early she could do just about anything she set her mind to. Recently she enrolled in the Automotive Collision and Restoration program at Kirkwood Community College, where she found that she has a profound talent for moving, shaping and coating metal. After 14 years of marriage, John and Jyl decided they wanted to strengthen their marriage by starting a business together. They decided to pool their eclectic skills, talents and interest to create Homeward Bound Customs and Repairs. HBCaR is an automotive repair facility located in south east Marion, catering to anyone looking for an honest mechanic. John and Jyl will take the time to evaluate your vehicle, assess what needs to be done (and what doesnt need to be done), and give you a proper run down of what they find. You will be told whats been found, what it is, why it is and what will happen if it is or isnt fixed. John and Jyl will make sure you understand so that you are empowered to make an informed decision about the repairs you want to make to your vehicle.
