I eat at this restaurant frequently and can't remember a time when I was not satisfied with my meal. I always get what I order and the helpings are always generous. The owner is always friendly and generally knows what I am going to order. I would rate this place higher if it had a nice dining room. However primarily a small carryout place and you can't expect fancy dining. Otherwise I would rate this place a 4.

My wife ordered lunch for us while she was out. She ordered Chicken Chow Me Fun. She picked it up and brought it to work so that we could eat lunch together. When she opened hers, it was SHRIMP, not chicken. I opened mine, same thing! I cannot eat shrimp. I called back to have my order replaced and the owner stated that is what my wife ordered. I told her that she would NEVER order shrimp. Miss Main Moon stated my wife ordered shrimp and it was if she did, it was her fault, not Miss Main Moon's. I again stated she would NEVER order shrimp for me. And Miss MM said that maybe my wife was out of her mind when she ordered! I said whatever and hung up while Miss MM was saying it wasn't her fault. We order from Main Moon several times a month. This is the third time we've gotten shrimp in our food instead of what we ordered. I will be taking mine back after work to demand a refund. I am pretty upset enough to never go back.

Given the limited number of places to sit down and enjoy a meal in Marion, IN, I have eaten at the Main Moon Restaurant on several occasions. The food is as you would expect from a small-town, strip-mall, Chinese buffet. Due to the fact that Marion is so limited, I would normally recommend this establishment... but no longer. Upon my last visit I simply asked if my loyalty card could be stamped for a prior visit. I even pulled up the credit card transaction that we had missed on my phone, even though I assumed that would be unnecessary. To my surprise, the woman who I believe to be the co-owner informed me that rather than making good on their "loyalty program," she felt I should just go to the other Asian buffet in town!!! So, if that is how a returning customer is treated, then I too must recommend that others avoid this restaurant in favor of Teppanyaki Grill. It can be found a couple of miles south of Main Moon, and it does have a better selection, and seems to be a cleaner place. Oh, and hopefully your business will be appreciated.
