The Lust family has been in the animal care business for over 25 years with continued growth and expansion. Dr. Jack Lust started his veterinary practice in a two-car garage of his house.In 1995, Dr. Lust, Mary, and their oldest son Robb designed a state-of-the-art pet care facility on a level to those of larger metropolitan cities. The "NEW" Edgefield Animal Care Center was born.The 7,200-square-foot facility is located behind Commercial Savings Bank on SR 95 East. The facility specializes in full-service veterinary hospital, boarding, grooming, and obedience training. The Center not only deals with dogs and cats but with hospital facilities for all types of animals. An in-house pharmacy and laboratory complete the hospital. Robb Lust is a certified Master Trainer. He received his training and certification from The National K-9 School for Dog Trainers. He is certified to teach obedience, handicap support dogs, narcotics detection dogs, personal protection, search & rescue, and police K-9 dogs. He is a member of The National K-9 Dog Trainers Association and adheres to the strict Code of Ethics established by the association.
