I rent from this Enterprise Location weekly. The team there is awesome. They are a small location with less than 25 cars, and they rent out fast, so you have to get the reservation in early. I reserve at least 2 weeks in advance.

I had a horrible experience with this company. This was my first time renting a car and I did not know what to expect. I rented a car to go to Columbia, SC for the weekend. I called about two days in advance to get an idea of the prices so I could budget for my trip. I was told one price for the rental and one price for the insurance. Once I arrived at the facility, I proceeded with the arrangements and paid for the rental. I was shocked at the difference in prices as I based my budget on what I was told over the phone. I ended up having to transfer money from various accounts. This was embarrassing as it looked like I did not have enough money to pay for the rental. I ended up going over budget, and with the confusion over the price, I was also charged optional fees that I was not made aware of neither in person nor over the phone. I called and complained about the confusion in which the manager said he would take care of the situation for my next rental.

He offered me two days free rental and three days half off. I told him that was fine as I would be renting another vehicle in two weeks for Halloween weekend. When I called to place the reservation, the manager suddenly had amnesia. The offer he made two weeks prior had been changed. Instead of two free days rental and three days half of, he offered one day free rental and four days half off. He completely denied ever telling me that I would get two days free rental. I then called back a week later to see if I could just get the one day free rental and apparently there was some confusion about that as well. I did not have a great experience and I have already told my family and friends about this company. They were also disappointed in how my situation was handled. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family. This was my first experience renting a car and I expected everything to go smoothly.

Since, this incident occurred; I have taken the Greyhound Bus to Columbia, South Carolina. I have not had any unpleasant experiences with Greyhound. I highly recommend their services for anyone who would like to use a budget friendly transportation. By using Greyhound, you can spend your money enjoying your vacation shopping, eating, and visiting family instead of on the spending excess money renting a car.
