I recently had experience with short term rehab at Valley. My father-in-law required therapy to recover from a surgery. I found the rehab staff, the nursing staff and the administrative staff to be attentive to his needs. They are excellent and employ skilled, compassionate, competent staff. I would highly recommend their care to anyone needing rehab.

Over the years, I have had many opportunities to visit a lot of friends and family that have stayed at Valley Health Care. And also at various times of the day and night. I have always found the staff at Valley to go above and beyond the "call of duty" to care for the residents there. It is very obvious when you enter that this healthcare facility is unlike most. It is always clean, there are never any bad odors that linger and the staff are always friendly. The residents always appear clean and happy. I have been told (by the ones staying there) that the food is good and they get plenty of it. Having been in and out of this particular facility for many years, I know what I'm talking about. All I can say is if you are truly interested in having someone in your family stay at Valley, go visit it yourself and you'll see what I mean!

I have heard so many negative things about this facility. Not only do they NOT take care of the residents, but they eat their food, physically abuse their residents, and use improper language in front of the residents. I have been told by a previous worker that the residents have been left in their own feces and urine for hours, sometimes an entire day! It is disappointing that these "caring" health care workers who DO NOT EVEN ANSWER CALL BELLS are taking care of those who are someone's mother and father.
