Still in absolute Shock. No words can describe the HORROR I feel. Even if the stylist/owner thought I wanted a half a foot (or more) of hair cut, why wouldn’t she double-check with a “are you sure you are ready for such a drastic change?” or ANYTHING? I PUT MY FAITH INTO THIS WOMAN AND I FELT BETRAYED, INJURED, AND I keep repeating to myself (and anyone in my family who will listen), “Why? WHY? Why would a “professional stylist” do this to ANY client??? SO GLAD I HAD CANCELED MY COLOR BEFORE THE CUT - MAYBE SHE WAS ANGRY ABOUT THAT???!! Good thing, or I could have looked like Bozo the Clown with orange hair (as I already look like a boy with the cut I was given that looks like a page). Then again, I don't think she could have destroyed my gorgeous hair any more than she managed to do. I am soooo distraught!!!

THIS MAY BE THE ONLY “HONEST” REVIEW OF THIS SALON. WHY? Because of the unethical way this salon owner gets her reviews. Quoting from her webpage (which I’ve saved and printed should she suddenly remove) “Write a great review – receive 15% off” if “print it out”. So, here’s a REAL review. I am still in shock and have not yet woken up from my nightmare. I HAD beautiful flowing long hair – the only part of my appearance I truly cherished. It was down my back. I have never had more than one or two inches cut at a time (usually less than that) and I asked Onita (the owner and lady who cut – uh, BUTCHERED my hair) to “err on leaving it too long than too short and definitely to leave several inches past my shoulder!” – I thought she was going to cut between 1 to a MAXIMUM of 2 inches. Though she said “after the fact” that she “didn’t know just how much she cut as they swept up all my hair already”, I KNOW AND HAVE PROOF – and she cut at least – at LEAST 5.5 – 8 inches off! I know this as I had a passport picture taken just about 2 weeks ago and I had someone digitally compare the before and after PLUS I had a family member measure how I was before and after (based on where I knew my hair fell). I was literally in tears and an amazing 16 year old girl in the salon at the time sat by my side for a half hour while I sobbed and was in Shock. Actual Shock. The monster that cut my hair was going to leave it curl up even shorter and I insisted she at least blow it out straight (as I had made the appt. for!!) She said I would have to have the “curly product” washed out so I agreed – and she made me sit and wait while she did several other client’s hair. I was there from about 2:15 until after 5:30!! 3 hours and 15 minutes – again I have witnesses that will swear to this on a bible in a court of law (and her staff and other customers saw this too!)

I was a client of this salon (and even brought my son there) over 5 years ago but had left and STUPIDLY returned. I guess this owner was EXTREMELY VINDICTIVE – AS I HAVE NO OTHER EXPLANATION. I don’t know WHY this lady could hate someone so much, but even my worst enemy (and I know who that is!!) would NOT have done to me what this owner did. I asked her “WHY? What possessed her to do this to me? Why would you do this to ANYONE? The bottom looks like a kindergartener took a pair of dollar store scissors and cut straight across. And all my hair is gone. GONE. And to think I went to this lady because I had a rough year and my spouse surprised me with a special trip and I wanted to look pretty for it. But mostly because I wanted to FEEL pretty. And now I only see sadness and ugliness and am severely depressed every time I pass a mirror or think about it. I don’t even want to leave my home to go to the grocery store for fear of someone I know or Anyone looking at me. I feel hideous. Onita did this to me. And this is 100% truth. If this site wishes to verify it, contact me. Also, if all “fake” positive reviews are not removed, at least people should now be forewarned that they are likely fake. (Not saying no one might have had a genuinely good experience, but check this salon’s site for their so called “promotion” and you can judge for yourself as to the veracity of my comments). Go anywhere in NJ but here. Trust me, or be sorry. (Oh, and as others will tell you – you will pay dearly in money, as well as self-esteem for the horrific experience). One final comment for Onita: I can give you a list of about a half dozen past stylists who would vouch on my behalf that I would NEVER EVER, AND HAVE NEVER EVER EVEN hinted of wishing to have more than a couple inches MAX cut, and that to do otherwise is either simply deliberately malicious or negligent hair styling. Heck, I can give you the names of everyone I’ve ever known as people know that while it’s very hard to handle, I value(d) my long hair.
