I've been going to this place a LONG time- since they first opened their doors after taking the spot over from an unremarkable Indian operation. Two things stand out: variety (of the menu) and consistency (of the food quality). I travel a lot on business and eat a lot of Thai- I am astounded at what some places elsewhere get away with. I love the good ol' Pad Thai of course (their chefs are happy to goose up the spice exactly to my liking) and the masaman curries are spot-on! But then, I've never-not once- been disappointed with the food. They had a fire several years back, and rebuilt much larger, with a big room upstairs that often has larger parties/small functions going on while I'm there, but it doesnt seem to slow down the service in the main dining room. I've noticed a lot of Thai places that were "thrown up" in the 90s are long gone, but Chez Siam is still going strong.
