I had been paying $10/month insurance on my iphone 4s for nearly 18 months. The only problems I had with it is sporadic charging issues. I dropped it about a foot onto a tile floor and must have finally knocked something loose. I called to file a claim (Asurion) only to find out that I had a $179 deductible, but they would send a phone overnight. Wow. I found Techcell two miles away. I called them. A polite young lady said it sounded like the charging jack needed replacing and it would be $40. I dropped the phone off at 6:30pm. They said they would call me within two hours. Thirty minutes later they called me, confirmed it was the jack and told me I could pick it up in a half hour. Which I did. Overnight for $180 or in an hour for $40? It is a no brainer. I am cancelling my Asurion as soon as I am done typing this!
