Founded in 1966, the Evesham Township Police Department provides various services to the community. It operates a patrol unit that provides monitoring services to the inhabitants within the area. It offers a wide range of services, including schedule patrolling, business and property security, responding to calls for service, animal control, traffic control and enforcement, preliminary investigations and report writing. The police department also governs an investigative bureau that looks into several specialty areas, such as narcotics, juvenile crimes, sexual assault, financial crimes, burglaries and robberies and crime scene investigation. The Evesham Township Police Department additionally has a school safety unit that offers educational, counseling, guidance and medical services to students. The department operates from Marlton, N.J.
