Marquette Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreation facilities and parks. The department maintains McCarty's Cove that features two volleyball areas, picnic tables, four park benches, an open space, small restroom facility, drinking fountains, cooking grills, a large parking area and a playground with a wooden play structure. It operates various ice-cream stores, including the Mattson Lower Harbor Park Concessions that serves ice creams, sundaes, malts, hot dogs, nachos, candies, chips and pop. Its Presque Isle Park has more than 100 species of plants and diverse landscapes, including pebble beaches, rocky cliffs, bogs and forest. The park also features cross-country ski trails, hiking trails, playground facilities, two tennis courts, four shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, restrooms and custom-designed timber gazebo. The department is located in Marquette, Mich.

Provided by YP.comMarquette has a wonderful system of parks and bike paths, and the city does a fabulous job of maintaining them. This really enhances the quality of life in the town to an A+.
