I'm a new customer. I was told to put garbage out in bags until my cart was to be delivered. I put it out the night before. They didn't pick it up and I saw the truck go by so I called. I was told I was missed and they would send someone back. I informed them where I live animals get into the bags and I cleaned it up. I had to go out 3X and clean up garbage since no one came back to pick up garbage. I sent an email after hours. I'm told it could be a couple weeks to get a cart, I cannot keep having this happen with garbage scattered due to no pick up. I'm being charged a pro-rated fee for May and if it's not picked up today, I better not be charged for this month. I'm ready to reconsider my decision going with this company.

We made the huge mistake of switching residential pickup service from another company to Vogel, based on the cost. The worst decision we have ever made. Vogel missed our first pickup day, and after 4 different calls to customer service, after receiving 4 different lies saying they would be right out, the bags are STILL sitting at the end of our driveway. We have cancelled our service that never got started and went crawling back to our previous company. The difference in customer service departments between the two companies is world's apart. Actually Vogel has NO reputable Customer Service Department. Pretty much a sad, sad joke.

Absolutely the WORST garbage company in the history of garbage. I have had them twice at 2 different homes, I would be better off buying a goat to eat my garbage. This company doesn't pick up garbage, they just ARE garbage. Deal with ANYONE else.

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, childish company in my entire life! We purchased my in laws home and they have lived here for 30 yrs and we have lived here for 4 yrs for most of those years they had a different trash company with whom they never had an issue with. They never once missed getting there trash (will make sense as to why I put that in a moment). When they got Vogel, which was not by choice, the neighborhood switched so they had to.they would have issues every now and then and for our first 2 yrs it was only on occasion but the last 2 yrs have been a nightmare! We went through a spell where our can was on the other side of the alley in our neighbors yard or in the middle of the alley (i took pics of that cuz I was in disbelief) and now every winter they won't take our trash saying there is too much ice and the driver is afraid of making the bend and hitting a home. This is where I said it would make sense...how come for 30 winters the other company never had an issue "making the bend?" but these past 2 yrs they can't? Other people have been having the same problem in the neighborhood and we are finally getting other companies to come back so they are going to be a thing of my past and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. When we do call they have zero customer service and a kindergarten mentality, and when we do make them come out I went out to the driver and complained and his response was "I don't know why your getting so upset it's just trash" no buddy it's a service I'm paying for that's not being provided!...rant over. Please please do not choose this company.

We had Vogel for 5 years - they were nothing but trouble. They would miss the pick up day all the time (they wouldn't pick up on the same day from week to week) and then completely miss some weeks. And if you didn't call them after a missed pickup within the 24 hour period of your scheduled pickup - you loose. They wouldn't pick up our garbage for three weeks because we didn't have the garbage can sitting less than 5 feet from the road - No note - no phone call letting us know why until I called to notify them that the garbage hasn't been picked up. I measured the distance where the original can was sitting and it was 5 feet - 2 inches. Please understand after two or three weeks of no garbage removal service - we had bags sitting all around the can. We tried to recycle - the day before the scheduled recycling day - we sat out all of our recycling products (note - it was less than 5 feet from road) - it sat for two weeks - we put out more - it sat for two weeks - two weeks later - we put out more and then someone stole our recycling bin and left all the recycling product. And finally, was trying to figure out why our garbage can always ended up across the road in the farmers field (thought it was the wind) until I was standing in the driveway one mornning as the garbage truck pulled up - the man jumped down - grabbed the garbage can - emptied it - and threw it on the other side of the road. Very Nice!
