Butterfield Youth Services, founded in 1963 and located in Marshall, Mo., is a youth organization that serves the needs of children and adolescents with social and emotionally challenging conditions. It offers various programs, including foster care, day treatment, residential care and independent living programs. Butterfield Youth Services also provides various services, such as clinical services, childcare, educational services, recreation therapy, art therapy and medical services. It offers routine examinations, preventive health care, health-related education, medication management, and care for day-to-day child illnesses and accident. Butterfield Youth Services has five ranch homes and two intensive care residences serving more than 60 boys and girls. It additionally provides psychiatric evaluation services, emergency medical care and dietary consultation.
