Bad daycare

I took my child to this daycare center and they never took him out of his car seat. I confronted the teachers about it and the response they game me was, “the state doesn’t care that we keep the babies in car seats.” I talked to child care licensing and according to them, children are not allowed in car seats unless they are being transported somewhere. They leave children unattended in the morning time, there have been plenty of days when I have walked into the child care center and there were not any adults in sight. I also saw that the children are put in front of the television almost every time I have been there and the teacher is just sitting in the back of the room sending text messages, not paying any attention to the children. Overall this child care center neglects the children that attend their center and I do not recommend anyone to send their children there.

Anyone who reads this review and believes it, needs to come to the center and view it for themselves. The comment about the infant, is that the infant was approximately 2 months old when he came to the center, and came every morning in a car seat. he was unable to sit up properly in the swing, or the bouncer because his head wasn't stable enough. and if the infant was placed on the floor with the other children (who were walking and crawling), he may have been hurt while they were playing. Also during the times this parent saw children watching television was when they were watching Your Baby Can Read, one of the services offered by the center. You can't judge a center by what you see only when you come in. If you are concerned about the care and education of your child at any child care center, then you should pop in at times other than drop off and pick up of your children. This parent never "confronted" any teachers about their infant being in a car seat. One of the teachers personally went out and bought a vibrating rocker for this child because there wasn't anywhere for him to be placed out side of of his car seat. He refused to be held and refused to lay in a crib. Remember most child care centers offer the Open Door Policy, where parents can observe what goes on at their center of choice at any time they choose. Parents should be considerate and kind, pay their tuition on time and to the best of their ability, keep supplies stocked for their child, and become involved in the activities offered by the center to ensure that their child is being cared for properly. When you take your child to a daycare, keep in mind that your child isn't the only child in care, the care giver must provide care, and nurturing to every child equally. Do your part as parents, and care givers will do their parts as well.
