Richard Smith started Car Donation Services in 1990 and it has grown to serve over 200 charities here in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and throughout California. CDS has sold millions of dollars worth of donated vehicles. We are large enough to make a difference, but small enough squeeze every penny out of every car. Over the years, CDS has developed a broad base of repeat and referred buyers and donors. We are constantly striving to ensure the maximum return on each donated vehicle so the charity receives the largest amount possible.
