My truck was intermittently starting. Another auto shop in town told me it was the PCM, which would be $1700 to fix if they did it. It's easy to replace, so I ordered the part and replaced it myself. Didn't work. So I sent it back and got another one. Still didn't work. Finally did what I should've done in the first place - took it to Brian and he replaced a sensor - original PCM was fine. For less than $250 my truck is back to normal. Finding a good and trustworthy mechanic is hard. Brian (one of the owners) knows what he is doing (20+ yrs experience) and there isn't a dishonest bone in the man's body. I won't ever take my cars anywhere else.

Two cars

I am a 70 year old widow and both my older cars needed some work done on them. I did not know of a good mechanic until a friend told me about Martinez Auto Repair on Wheeler Rd. She took me there and I got both cars repaired . Johnny, the owner, did a good job with prompt service and a good price for me. I would definately recommend his work.
