Love Traci she is the best at her art and would not dream of going to anyone else.

Amazing women, and they do great work. Clean place, and clean work! Recommend them to anyone!

The low ratings sound completely bogus. First of all, Traci would never slap someone's tattoo and say congrats....to all who know Traci (and Evelyn), their personalities are calm and quiet, which is very conducive to their work environment/product. Additionally, the person who said they weren't allowed to see the work of the female tattoo artist, well, if they opened their eyes, portfolios are neatly placed in binders by year on a table by the seating in the shop. Convenient and practical. Traci is a fabulous tattoo artist who took an idea I had and turned it into a real piece of art. It's stunning. She has also done a cover-up and an original piece for my husband. She's completely professional and CLEAN -- and by clean, I mean her practice and her shop itself.

Traci does amazing work. My guess on those low ratings is... well, one didn't even GET a tattoo, so how does that qualify as a rating? The other just doesn't sound like Traci at all. She's very laid back and quiet (which is fine by me because she's FOCUSED on creating great work), but friendly... I'm guessing someone out there is trying to pull the 5-star rating she deserves, down. My husband and I each got our first AND second tattoos from Traci for my 40th birthday a few years ago.. the first ones I did my own drawing and she happily agreed to use them. She did a great rendition of my work. Our second time, we told her the subject matter and let HER creativity shine. We love our tattoos, and our experiences at Boomtown have been great. No one else will put artwork on our bodies as long as Traci continues to tattoo.

The reviews I read here are surprising to me. Definitely not the shop my wife, oldest daughter, and I know and love. Treatment from Owner/Artist Traci and staff has been nothing but great and they have always worked with us for each visit. In the years we have been getting work done here Traci has never even had an Old Dude working for her. Here are my thoughts and I'm pretty sure some of the thoughts of a lot of her other clients as well.



Owner/Artist Traci is very easy going and very talented. I have taken my thoughts and ideas into her for several peices. She helped me design my tattoos into even better works of art than I even imagined when I put them on paper and brain stormed them with her. She expanded them to make them one of a kind with the perfect coloring, shading, fine lines, and details I pictured in my head and brought them out on my skin just like I wanted and hoped for. My wife, oldest daughter and I have all put our trust in Traci for great peices and will continue to visit her when we are ready for something original and new knowing we will have one of the best artists around. I recommend anyone wanting a person skilled in their profession with a great attitude to go along with it and the willingness to get your thoughts and designs just right for you before applying the tattoo go visit Traci at Boomtown Tattoo in Martinsburg, WV.

BoomTown Tattoo is the only place I will go for tattoos and Traci is the only one putting any ink on my body. I have been going to Traci for a few years now- she is an awesome artist.

I recommend BoomTown over any other tattoo parlor in the panhandle.

The first tat I got from this parlor was awesome, the guy that did it was easy quick and friendly. I had such an awesome time the first time I went I went back for another tat. This time however when i requested the same guy I was told by an old dude that he wasn't there anymore and i would have to see someone else. I asked to see examples of the other artists work and the guy got offended and from that point on was short with me. I figured if asking to see examples of tattoos this other artist has done was enough to make him angry then there was a good chance I wasn't going to get a decent price or decent service. So I walked out and took my business somewhere else.

I recently visited this establishment. The outside of the building looks great but inside is a mess dirt and buildup in corners and windows...i was greated by a scary looking guy who started laughing and saying i was so small he was going to tattoo my bones...i said i wanted someone else to do my tattoo and he cursed me finally someone else took me back to the back and did my tattoo the lady that did it didnt talk to me at all and when she finished my tat she slapped it really hard and said congragulations i dont suggest going here....over priced, dirty, and the employees are rude

the ink in my tattoo fell out shortly after I had it done by this women! It didnt even make it all the way through the healing process and now this parlor is telling me its my fault and they refuse to fix it? what kind of place is this? grrrrr I did everything I was told to do and now look where Im at:(
