We want to thank you for visiting the Costin Funeral Chapel web site. We provide funeral and cremation services.Our Chapel is independently owned and operated and we are very proud of that fact. We are both from Morgan County and have raised our two children here as well. We continue to actively support our community. In February, 1985, we purchased Cure & Hensley Funeral Home, which was established in 1923. Through the years, many families have placed their confidence and trust in us. In 1997, we were able to build and grow to our current facility on local historic property (home of the Home Lawn Sanitarium). We created Southern Indiana Cremation Society in 2007 and owned Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery for 13 years. We feel that we have a ministry here and it is our privilege to serve our families in their time of need.

Kenny Costin was very kind and accommodating. He could have "soaked" me for a lot more money, but instead of trying to increase his profit, he helped me figure out ways to save money without losing the quality of services. This is the second time I have used him and I highly recommend him. He made a very sad day much better.

Terrible experience with this place. The funeral director actually refused to do our funeral, after originally agreeing to do it, because we disagreed with him on an issue. Very unprofessional and found out later another funeral home removed him from their business for the very same reason. They are very much concerned with the almighty dollar, and not focused on accommodating you in a desperate time of need. Keep that in mind before you choose this business because there ARE other options, like The Funeral Chapel in Bloomington. Go with them!
