I love shopping here, I am from another country and have never liked shopping in the "Big stores" because of the impersonal atmosphere, BUT I have found the staff at Meijer to be very friendly and helpful, I have never shopped there without someone checking to see that i am finding everything satisfactory.

The woman working the counter was very rude and condescending. Definitely not someone I would want for an employee. I wish I had gotten her name.

I give this place 0 stars don't't ever go here for your prescriptions. I faithfully use this location for my prescriptions and have for 4years thinking it will change and I absolutely love meijer in general. There are so many bad experiences it would be hard to choose one. Of the many there is a pharmacy tech that knows me so well being i have to go there 3_4 times a month, he always apologizes for the many problems. I have 2 insurances they never bill both, have called and complained many times but it is usually a 2 hour endeuver every time I go. I have gotten to where when I call forth prescription refill I make sure to remind them to bill both, and even call to check everything is right, but I am a busy mom of 5 so imagine the troubles of dealing with this and then sometimes thinking they actually got itbecause itwas a smooth transaction one time and getting burnt again. 2nd horror store I went for an allergy test across thestreet had such a bad allergic reaction had to get shot up with an e-pen at the visit, take prednisone, and take a benydryl. They wanted me to go over to meijer immediately after to get an allergy medicine, and e-pen i was stuck there 3hours with their slow operating system, and billing issues. 3rd I went there for my infants liquid antibiotic, got home, and it was a powder mixture still. Had to take it back to have it mixed. 4th went to pick up a prescription and they always have an abundantly long line because they always mess up eveyones stuff and are super slow and clueless. Was running a little behind so I decided to leave but as I left seen therewas no one in the drive threw, so pulled in to get the prescription and the lady at the window told me both insurances for some excuse reason hadn't been billed. Asked me to pull ahead and go behind the car in front of me because it would only take a second. Well if it was only going to take a second why would she ask me to menuever my huge durango with a hemi wasting gas to wait when rightfully she could just fix my stuff. So anyway as I pulled around and 2 people ended up getting in front of me and each car was about a 5 minute wait. When I get the time and figure all the INS and outs of having my stuff sent somewhere new. Its taking place. They have such a broken system, the staff seems to be level headed after all the complaining I know they receive. I watch people let them have it as I am patiently waiting for hours as they don't seem to remember that they had me wait 5 min. Which is never 5 min. I hate this place and so wanted to let them have it so many times but never see it fit to throw a fit itit's not my style. The one time with the drive threw incident I told them their system was broken and asked how to o about switching, but still haven't gotten to it because I was so mad I don't remember what the lady said to do. Don't waste your time with this place, it's not just me and it isn't just because I have 2 insurances either. It was e mess when I only had one.....

Went to Meijer to fill my prescription Thursday and told me they would have it in on Friday. Come back on Friday and they told me to wait it will be ready in a half hour. Half hour goes by so I go back up there to see what's going on and they told me their out of stock and I will need to come back on Monday. I wish they could have just told me that originally so I didn't have to waste all my time. This is the second time this happened and I'm going to make sure it doesn't happen again by finding a new place to go.

Talk about friendly! I had an Rx filled here today and called ahead. They are the best!

Meijer is new to the area however, it has proved to be a good citizen by making new programs and activies to the neighborhood
