Lakewood High School is a four-year high school that serves more than 700 students in grades nine through 12. It was founded in 1982 and is located in Marysville, Wash. The school has several departments, including English, mathematics, science, career and technology, physical education, history, music, art, foreign language and special education departments. Its athletics department offers baseball, softball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, tennis and track and field. The school s library provides a variety of fiction and nonfiction books, vertical file materials, magazines, audio books and course-related videos. It has various clubs, including future business leaders of America, distributive education clubs of America and family career and community leaders of America. Lakewood High School is affiliated with the Lakewood School District # 306.
