Maryville Womens Centers goal is to provide excellent OB/GYN care by a compassionate and experienced staff. We have recruited physicians, physician assistants, midwives, and nurse practitioners who are committed to serving the needs of women in our community. We became known as Maryville Women's Center in 1998. It was the beginning of a dream to provide all medical services for women in one location. Our goal is to provide excellent OB/GYN care by an experienced and compassionate staff. We have recruited experienced physicians, physician assistants, midwives, and nurse practitioners committed to serving the needs of women in this community. Dr. Gingrich grew up here on the east side and began her medical training in St. Louis. She was recruited back home by Anderson Hospital to keep women on this side of the river by providing the same quality care that drew people to St. Louis. She was frustrated that in this small community women had to travel from one location to another to get their medical needs met. After practicing here for 5 years, the dream began to unfold. The three-story pink building was built, providing ultrasounds, and a blood drawing station, under the same roof where OB/GYN services were provided. We donate our time to perform physicals for the community's high school athletes, read ultrasounds for Mosaic crisis pregnancy center, and provide free lectures on topics in OB/GYN at community gatherings or for the media. Part of the dream still remains elusive. That dream is to bring a complete breast center to this area with all services needed to take a women from her diagnostic breast imaging to complete state of the art breast cancer treatment at one location. This would include all the services that are needed to meet the emotional and physical needs of women fighting for the cure. We look forward to serving you and invite you to come dream with us.
