Dr. Cardenas is a fantastic podiatrist. I highly recommend him. I had visited 3 different podiatrists in the last 8 years due to chronic foot pain. Each doctor told me that I only needed inserts in my shoes. The pain never went away and increased in intensity as time passed. I went to Dr. Cardenas upon the recommendation of my primary care physician. He was the first doctor to order an MRI. The MRI showed a tumor in my foot. He immediately contacted me, talked with me about the options, and then recommended that I go to SLU oncology in order to have the very best equipment and specializations available to me. I had an appointment scheduled with SLU hospital in one week and surgery one week after that. My tumor was benign and the pain is completely gone!
