I took my WAY over-grown Yorkie to Bark Avenue for a shave. I told the sweet girl to leave it 1 or 2 inches if she could. If not, to just shave him. When i arrived to pick up my dog, he looked ADORABLE!!!!!! Nails nicely trimmed, happy to see me, no nicks or cuts anywhere! His hair was 10 inches long and she did a fantastic job. Pleasant, understanding, and very kind to me and Spanky. He is a non-stop barker, and he wasn't barking when I arrived. (which means he was not unhappy) I will definitely go back, and refer all my friends. Thank you so much Bark Avenue!!!!! :)

Horrible avoid at all cost

I felt very uncomfortable with the service. I physically heard her cursing at my dog. I was shaking at that point imagining what happened when i was not there.

Best grooming shop in east TN

DStephens I don't understand your complaints! You say that your dog was tied versus being in a cage? Hair in a bag versus all over the floor? On the nail subject I'm assuming you have a large breed like a newf, lab , golden, husky etc. Let me educate you on nails. Trimming your large breed dogs nails regularly is important. Too-long nails are bad for your dog’s health. They can split and bleed profusely. They can change the shape of the foot and cause other joint problems if they force your Dog to walk so as to protect the too-long nails. So don't blame the groomer blame yourself. Let's face it your groomer is not responsible for the dog having such longgg nails to the point of splitting and coasting joint issues. My dear DStephens it is apparent that the one abusing the poor Lily is you!!!!! Take your dog regular to the groomers or vet to have its nails cut more frequent!

g your dog! Take responsibility on yourself!

Not a good feeling

I went to pick Lily up and her leash was tied to the wall. She had MAYBE 2 feet of room to move. There was a big bag of hair close enough that she got into it when she saw me. The lady scolded her for this...she was VERY rude. I got Lily home and she could barely walk...it was as if someone may have kicked her back leg. They trimmed her nails and burst one of the few claws and left flesh hanging out if it~

I don't appreciate my baby being abused by anyone.

We won't be back at all!!!

Bark Ave.

I took my Petal Lee to Bark Avenue last week. Took a pic of the cut I wanted. They gave her the wrong cut but that easy the least of our concerns. They cut her ear in the inside, nicked her nipples and cut her whiskers. Her equilibrium has been off and she had been acting like she is drunk. I would not suggest you take your pet here unless you just don't care about them.
