Provided by YP.comTo start with, ive never done this but i felt compelled to share just a little bit of my experiences with these fine folks.i was attending maryville college about 12 yrs.ago and was an ''out of towner'' and i had been out on a friday night with the guys.we were too busy chasing girls to watch the road and hit a curb on campus. Not knowing any better we proceeded to sears and spent my whole saturday morning waiting for them to install a tire that i had to have my father pay for over the phone.(he was slightly upset at me)to say the least, when the same salesman comes out and says that the wheel is damaged beyond any use, even said it would never hold air and that he wasnt ''allowed'' to install the tire on the wheel and i would have to buy another wheel, not knowing what to do and scared to tell my father because i was also told that my wheel no longer existed,my roomate called as soon as she heard i was lost at sears and said that she knew a place i could carry my wheel and if it was really beyond repair these guys would tell the truth, good or bad,so i went running up there and they were closing as we pulled into the lot,the owners youngest son stopped and asked if he could help me.Iasked if he would please look at my wheel and see if it was useable,he did and said that he thought with a little persuassion with a large hammer,he could possibly make it work as long as i agreed to not hold him responsible for any damage to the wheel.i agreed and to make a longer story shorter he asked if it was something that could wait til mon.and i said yes but i wouldn't have a car to get around in but was more than willing to wait when he said''your really worried about this wheel not working are'nt you?''and i explaned that i had not told my father the whole story he laughed and took the wheel inside and took two good slaps with his hammer and took yhe tire that i had bought from sears and installed it for me saying he normally wouldnt install a new tire not bought atw.e.t.,i was floored when he was able to keep it from leaking and to this day its in my garage with a new cooper tire on it still holding air.i moved to eastern nc after college and my wife just couldnt understand why i had become so loyal to these people until the dealer in nc tried to put a whole new steering column in her suv for the low price of about twelve hundred dollars.we took it to George and asked if he would give us a second opinion,he laughed and said best advice was never take it anywhere else unless there was no choice.they fixed the switch inside the column that caused the problem in the first place for 230.00,needless to say we make the drive over to w.e.t.now knowing we can trust and depend on these folks. I have dealt with the public before i was blessed with the oppurtunity to work in the private sector, you sure cant please them all but lord knows these folks really try.knowing what i know about the whole crew,i can assure you that they will only tell you the truth and some things haven't changed. god bless you and yours JON K.

Provided by YP.comI have done business with these folks for about fifteen years and I was a little worried when I came in last year and found that the company had been sold to a new owner. I went ahead and got a price on tires and brakes knowing that it was coming up soon. I just happened to see George's youngest son Christian one day at Home Depot and he assured me that they would have never sold the business if they didn't have full confidence in Scott and the guys he has working for him. Christian was always my go to guy ever since I started doing business with W.E.T. and had always tried to be as accommodating as possible and always gave me great advice. Knowing this I went back and had my brakes done and bought my tires from them. I am satisfied that they did the job properly and other than a price increase I went away knowing that they have my business still. I wish the smith family a wonderful retirement and hope that George and Eva know that they're son is a very honest and helpful young man who still has a very bright future somewhere else! I can only say the best about the new owner as far as the work on my car. Thanks guys I'll be back. Thomas H Townsend tn

Provided by YP.comI have had my oil changed and other services done here for over 4 years now , but on my last oil change some new guy they hired came in the office and i could hear him telling the owner that my oil pan threads were stripped. Since they are the only ones to change my oil on a regular basis for years i thought they would pay some of the cost of replacing it , $400 they charged me and now my car leaks oil . i have to check it often to make sure it does not get low and inside the car smells like burned oil all the time. It just turned over 100,000 miles it did not leak oil before they got ahold of it . They told me it was valve cover gasket gone bad but how odd that it started leaking right after they worked on it

Provided by YP.comThe owner at West End tires in Maryville was very confrontational today after asking for my money back on some very unsafe tires. He called me a con man among other names. I was just not happy with the tires that were unsafe and i was not getting anything out of it, I just wanted them to make it right ..do not buy tires there, their tires are unsafe and when you go back to ask them to make it right they will talk to you like crap, yell at you and call you names and still not refund your money! Please pass along so you won't get burnt by this company!
