very overcrowded conditions. not enough lockers available. the students need to pay for a locker, parking space if they drive and their very own diploma too. the cost not cheap either. high school yearbooks cost close to $100.00! yes, and this is only a fair school at best. obvious $ going to sports programs.

mold health concerns apparent on the whole second floor. if your child is always sick this is more than likely why. bus services don't run on time. severly overcrowded conditions. they make registering your child difficult. want custody legal paperwork they refuse your child an education until you get them.

OVERCROWDED CONDITIONS. (THE SAME FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL). THE SCHOOL BUILDING ITSELF IS IN POOR CONDITION (CHECK OUT THE UPSTAIRS ESPECIALLY AND THE LOCKERS, WHICH THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH OF FOR THE STUDENTS, AND YOU HAVE TO PAY DO GET ONE, JUST LIKE YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET YOUR DIPLOMA, AND FOR STUDENT PARKING!), THE SPORTS FACILITY THO ARE NUMBER ONE. YOU GET THE IDEA OF WHERE THEIR PRIORITIES ARE. THEY TEND TO HAVE SNOBBY BAD ATTITUTDES TOO. THAT IS WHY STUDENTS TEND TO DROP OUT. I CANNOT RECOMMEND SENDING YOUR CHILD TO THE BLOUNT COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT. ALSO, TRANSPORTATION IS VERY POOR TOO. THE GENERAL ATTITUDE OF THE AREA IS POOR ALSO.
