The Mason Public Schools Foundation exist to support and enhance the educational opportunities of Mason's youth. The Foundation recognizes that the quality of education available to students is as essential factor in maintaining a strong community and creating productive successful citizens. Today's investment in our youth will create a better tomorrow for our community, our nation, and our world. The foundation was created by community leaders for the sole benefit of our students. As an independent, non-profit organization, the Foundation serves as a conduit to direct community contribution toward expanding opportunities for learning. Among the activities receiving Foundation support will be those which: The Foundation's governing body is independent of the Mason Board of Education ; however, the Foundation's Board of Directors works in cooperation with the school district to maximize the Foundations benefit to youth. The Foundation Board is comprised of volunteer members from the community, along with the Superintendent of Schools and a member of the Board of Education. In addition to generating funds, the Foundation Board selects projects and manages Foundation business for the maximum benefit to the students. Any member of the Board will be pleased to answer questions and receive suggestions.
