LBA is a wonderful school (preschool through eighth grade). It is very affordable compared to other private schools in the area. With highly qualified teachers and high academic standards, the students score 2-3 grade levels above national averages. The middle school students' test scores are often PHS (post high school). There is a warm and caring atmosphere, and a wonderful sense of community. The student body is culturally diverse, and religiously diverse (with over 40 different denominations represented). There is a strong focus on character and citizenship. Music, Art, and technology programs are exceptional. There are daily Bible classes and weekly chapel services.
