Located in Massapequa, N.Y., Fairfield Elementary educates more than 800 students in grades kindergarten through six. Its social workers team provides individual and group counseling. It also provides assessment and intervention for addiction related illnesses and suicide. Additionally, it offers parenting workshops and clinical assistance to students, parents and staff in dealing with crisis. The school operates a computer lab that offers various software programs, equipment and resources. Its equipment includes digital cameras, CD burners, projectors, scanners, smart boards and shredders. The school also provides supplies, such as erasers, markers, papers, folders, glue sticks, scissors, binders and computer disks. Fairfield Elementary was established in 1925.
