Provided by YP.comThe BEST!!! Very professional-trimmed 4 trees and took down a large tree in front yard. The crew was amazing-very quick and clean up was well done. Service was top notch and pricing was very reasonable. When needed I will definitely call again

Provided by YP.comDisappointing. We used this company in the past and they did a great job. This time I asked them to trim a tree in my backyard and trim out the dead wood, which is what was on the estimate. However, when the crew only did part of the job, I complained. They trimmed out MOST of the dead wood but they did no trimming. I pointed this out to the clean up crew, because the work crew bugged out the second the clock read noon, and he said that the trimming of the tree was a heading the estimator used and they were only supposed to do the dead stuff. I pointed out that there was still dead stuff in the tree and he shrugged and asked if I was paying cash or check. I called to complain and the woman who answered the phone said she would contact Jr and call me back. They didn't so I called the next day and after she played telephone with the boss basically said he would be happy to give me another estimate. I said no thanks. During the job, the foreman sat on my front steps reading a magazine about accessories for his truck while the guys in the back did their work. When I approached him about an estimate for other work to be done on the property, (because, hey, he was there and he could see exactly what work needed to be done) he told me to call Jrs and get him to do an estimate because he wasn't any good at them. So, I called the lovely woman at Jrs - honestly, she was very nice and tried to be helpful-and told her what I wanted and what the foreman told me. (I told her prior to them coming that I would like estimates for more work to be done) The foreman came into the backyard and asked what I work I needed an estimate on. I started by showing him the first thing I needed done and he called one of the workers over. He asked the worker what he thought the work would cost. He then gave me the response and then told me I'd probably better off tying the tree of to the bumper of a truck and pulling it down that way. I didn't bother asking about the other trees that needed work. So, between not responding to an unhappy customer regarding what was a sloppy and confusing estimate and a poorly done job, and not being interested when a customer has potentially more business for them, I was very disappointed. I guess they have gotten to big to be bothered. I will be giving my future business to someone else.

Provided by YP.comHorrible Horrible Horrible They are experts in destroying your lawn, flowers, damaging your fences ect. They leave a terrible mess behind when they say they are going to clean it up and when you ask them they say yes and then they take off after getting paid and when you speak to them about it they accuse you of lying. A very bad experience!!

Provided by YP.comIn 1965 my dad planted four small maple trees in my backyard. Today they are/were fifty (50) feet tall with a base of two or three feet in diameter. The branches from the trees extended into my neighbors yard badly, she had as much growth as I did. The tops of these trees cover the sun from reaching our pool. We called JRs, they gave us a price, showed up on time and quickly trimmed my neighbors mess, topped all four trees about 15 feet down, cleaned up immaculately , not a leaf remains, my neighbor is happy, I am happy JRs did a great job. This is the second time I used them, did not even get a second price. June 6, 2015. PaPa John III

Provided by YP.comI hired JRs Tree Service because they had the most reasonable estimate. I called yesterday and was scheduled for today. After I had scheduled the cutting, I researched the company and found these reviews. I almost cancelled the cutting based on them. But then I thought, this guy has been in business for 30 years and in all that time ONLY 4 people gave him a bad review? I decided to NOT cancel and was glad I didn't. The job involved having the overhanging branches from my neighbors 60 foot tree trimmed at the property line. I also had my neighbors permission to top about 15 feet off the top of the tree. The crew arrived at about 3:00. I explained what needed to be done and asked that they use caution to protect my neighbors other shrubs and trees. I was also concerned that they would bring heavy equipment through my neighbor's yard (the only way to access the trees). The foreman assured me that his men would simply climb the tree and they would leave the huge chipper on a trailer hitch in the street. An hour and a half later it was done! They carried all the branches out to the street and into the chipper.. Then they used a big leaf blower to clean up all the leaves and sawdust the job had caused. PERFECTLY DONE! I mentioned these bad reviews to the foreman and I vowed I'd write a good review based on their work today. I guess you have to take a page from the "You Can't Please ALL of the People ALL of the Time" when researching reviews on a company such as this. But common sense should sometimes trump the bad reviews of a few. They did a great job, were friendly and accommodating and we could not be more pleased with the result or the price we paid.

Provided by YP.comThese people were cheapest... And there is a reason! They S*CK.
Ticked of my neighbor (not the one posted above) by leaving debris in his driveway and gutters full of flying mulch. Then basically told him too bad too sad when he called to complain.
Then when we cleared the mound of mulch they left in my driveway half of the stump that I paid extra to remove was still there.. on the bottom half.. the side!
When I called the girl said it happens all the time.
Then she called back to say the grinder was broken and wouldn't be fixed anytime soon so I shouldn't expect them to come back. I said so basically I am stuck? She said yes basically thats it.
Oh, and they never pulled the permit from the Borough to do the work.

Provided by YP.comThey're horrible. Very unprofessional. Never asked if they could destroy MY lawn getting to my neighbor's back yard with their equipment but did it anyway. Moved a bunch of MY stuff around to get to my neighbors tree and never put it back. Would never use them myself after they trashed my yard this way. If you want peace with your neighbors, use someone else.
