Obvious if you have to hide behind this website to talk down about Carolyn's you are not big enough to speak with your hair dresser face to face. A “Little” conversation goes a long way if you were dissatisfied. Carol has been in the business for more than 20 years and is a perfectionist. I have been going there for over ten years and there is always a great crowd with a friendly atmosphere. Carolyn's does a fabulous job and many of your clients continue to return on a regular basis. So if you didn't like the service speak up to the hair dresser. I’m pretty sure with God’s will, she doesn’t know!!!!!!!!!!!!!~ God Bless!

I've been going to Carolyns hair salon for 4 years now, two of which Carol herself has been my hair stlyists. I've gotten every service imaginable there. Anyway I've been growing my relaxed hair for three years. Carol herself has complimented me on my astonishing hair growth. Here is the story. I wanted to change my hair color, but didnt want to put my hair through the harsh chemicals that are in permanent hair color so i opted to put in three tracks (so my hair would look like i put in shrieks) My hair is about an inch past my underarm and is a very dark brown. The weave that Carol put in was light light brown (she provided the hair herself) so she put in the weave, and then after she's done, she takes it upon herself to cut it. I thought this was a little strange, only because she never does ANYTHING to my hair without telling me, because I'm very specific. In a attempt to even out the hair she ends up HACKING OFF 4 INCHES OF MY DARK BROWN HAIR, which was longer than the weave she put in!!!!! I am now shoulder length. After she cut off 4 inches of my real hair (which took me one year to grow) she didnt say one word, she hoped i didnt notice!!! and after I calmly brought it to her attention she denied it, she said "Oh, I see it now, I did cut off your hair". "I doesn't look like 4 inches" My favorite is "did you scratch your scalp, sometimes you can loose hair that way." I just walked out at that point, if you love you hair dont go here
