I bought a new car approximately 1.5 years ago. The sales person talked me and my wife to simionize the car telling us it would prevent light scratches. Now we find out that is not true and is not covered. The sales manager was going to make it right. I saw 2 emails from the salesman calling me and my wife crazy and lyres even though we have proof of his lying in his emails. My friends and family will never buy a vehicle from any of their dealerships

As a former Finance and Insurance professional with Ford and Honda in the 1990's, I feel I can tell with with certainty that Hawkinson Nissan is several bars above any dealer I have done business with. I have owned over 30 new cars with six different brands and this is the first time since my first car I am excited to pickup a new car - a Nissan Rogue.



Ben, Taijah and the entire staff demonstrated patience for over three hours and let me walk the lot, show papers from what I thought was the best deal and let me transact at my own pace. I'm not an easy buyer but Ben handled my concerns perfectly. I you are foolish to buy a Nissan anywhere else in the Chicagoland area!



Lastly, I researched Honda, Toyota, Chevy, Ford and Hyundai before stepping foot at Nissan. I found the Nissan product, and I've driven them all, to be head and shoulders above others in price value, safety features and awesome interior comfort and exterior appearance. There is a quality model for nearly any price point and budget.



I back my own review by telling you I referred my own daughter September 4th and helped her buy a Sentra SR with excellent hands free Bluetooth and Nissan Connect navigation. As a Dad, I'm sleeping at night! They made her first new car experience as memorable as my own.

If you are looking for a vehicle this is the place to be. The crew there is awesome and very concerned about your needs. Employees there is very helpful even if you are not their customer. I purchased a 2014 Kia Sorrento from this dealership and it was the same service I would have received at any other normal dealership. They say they are about the customer but honestly they are out for your money, the second you walk out of the building with the car you are no longer a concern to them. I went back to them for an oil change and ended up with another vehicle 2014 Kia Cadenza. After hours of talking and coming up with a deal it took them about an hour before someone was sent to get the car out of the showroom then they realize the battery was dead. It took another hour to get the car out in order to test drive. After I signed for the car they tell me I am unable to take this car home because it still needs to be 100% approved by the bank. I was called and told the car was the ready the next day, when I arrive the car was on the side of the building so walked over to it. There was garbage from someone driving it, the owner's family member who works at the dealer ship took the car home. When I test drove the car it had about 25 miles on it that day the car had 114 miles on it. I am already signed and stuck with this car. I know now that this isn't even that car I wanted. I was lied to about the options and features this car has, I was also lied to about what Kia cars are available. They held my deposit and wouldn't give it back to me till I contacted Kia, I was told I would be getting floor mats that was also help till I contacted Kia, the floor mats I did receive weren't even or the car that I purchased. I agree with the other review, Jeremy Walton is good at just telling you what you want to hear. This is bad business and till today they have not been able help me. The car they sold me two and half months ago for $37k is now only worth 25K to them. I have been going to the Kia in ORLAND PARK, IL since. They have a larger selection of cars to choose from and the customer's service is just amazing. I don't want anyone else to go through what I am going through, PLEASE don't put yourself in the same position.

The Good - the salesman helped us find a used car in our price range. That took about an hour including test drives. The bad - it took 5 hours to complete a cash deal, they tried to sneak in that $300 window etching scam, and only gave us one set of keys (not even a valet key). Next day the stereo quit working and I did not receive a response when I inquired if it would be covered under the warranty (another dealership is handling the repair). In summary they claim to be different from other dealerships but they are not - you leave with the feeling you were given a bad deal and once you leave with your new purchase you are on your own.

DO NOT GO HERE. drive another half hour and go to Orland Park Nissan. I was promised a car for 15,000 out the door. Told me I will definitely have it by the 17th, IF I GIVE THEM A DEPOSIT.....everyday I got a call saying that the car was sold that they were trying to get for me then finally by the 20th I got fed up got my money back and went to Orland where I walked in and bought a car that day. also the salesmen didn't know anything about the cars that I was asking information on. all around awful experience.

Hawkinson Nissan Does it Right in Sales and Service

I hadn't bought from them before, but I got a good feeling during the negotioations. I was actually referred by a guy from work, so I had an entree with the sales staff when I asked for Gordon Smith. He remembered my co-worker and that broke the ice for an easy negotiation. They don't seem high pressure, anyway. The atmosphere was busy on Saturday, kinda electric, really. I had to return to service, to get a spoiler installed and to change the oil and filter because I bought a demo and it had 3000 miles on it. Service was very friendly and I had all ready met the service manager,so there's friendly faces in service for me, already.

This dealership rocks!

I brought my new Nissan into Hawkinson after receiving a letter for express service: 30 minute oil and filter change, or it's free. I'd rather get my oil and filter changed at the dealer than at the those Quick Lube places. Anyway, we were met by Dana, who introduced us to the Express service guy, who got us in and out quickly and even washed the car for us. Our salesman, Jim Youngblood was awesome and the manager, Tim Curran was able to put the deal together with the bank because I did not want to ask someone to be a co-signer. if you're gonna buy a New Nissan, go to hawkinson in the Matteson Auto Mall. e live in Frankfort, and the Auto Mall is convenient to all the south suburbs, so check them out.

I've bought two Nissans from Hawkinson Nissan. I had a good experience and was treated well. There's two brothers that own it. I know their dad ran a great Ford store in Oak Lawn and the boys do a great job in Matteson.

I have even referred friends to buy there, who were happy, too. Go there and ask for Bob or Jim, or the manager Vince.
