On the morning of July 1, our favorite cat awakened us with calls of distress. Because we had been to this clinic before, we did not hesitate to return. We got there about 5:00 a.m. and he was gently taken back to the examining area. After a while, the doctor came out to give us the news, which was not good. He outlined our options, and waited while we decided what to do. We were not rushed in any way. After a bit, we elected to say goodbye to this special pet. He and we were treated with utmost kindness and dignity. At a later time, we were sent a card and his pawprint. We thank each person who was involved in the care of our pet during his final moments.

Thank you so much for being so helpful and comforting when I brought my cat, Tony, in on Labor Day morning. My regular vet was not open and my cat went into what seemed to be cardiac arrest. I felt sure that he was gone - but I took him to the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Matthews to be sure. They confirmed it. Brenda, the administrator, ushered me into a private waiting room and sat with me while Tony was being examined. She was so concerned and comforting in my time of need. They even called the crematorium of my choice for me. I can't say enough about the staff's professional behavior and caring hospitality.
