I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Albin since before she bought the clinic. I have fostered many dogs and adopted several more. She always is kind, compassionate, and I feel like she cares for each and every one she had to care for, has sent us to the U. of I. if in doubt, and put down many and she has kept our precious Lucy alive years after she should have left us. I was given permission to "job shadow" and take photos during surgery once and personally witnessed something amazing. Dr. Albin and Dr. Kate were ready to do surgery on a bad knee due to the kneecap slipping. The dog was out cold, they pulled and twisted and that knee was fine. They did nothing, put the dog into post-op to awaken, and called the owners. They could very easily have charged several hundred dollars and no one would have known. She and her employees are like a family and respect each other and our four legged babies. Maybe some of the complaints are from those who can not afford to have a pet and didn't like what they heard. I am very proud to have her as a doctor and someone who has become my friend who cries when we cry.

We have been taking our family pets to Albin's for over 14 years. Both vet and staff have been nothing but helpful and compassionate. When we had to make a hard decision to put our boxer down due to an aggressive cancer. Dr. Albin showed nothing but compassion and concern for our clair bear and to us. When our Cat Gizmo had a bad UTI one of the staff called to touch base and see how he was doing. My pets are my kids!!!! I would never take my family pets some where I would not feel comfortable and did not show care and compassion for animals. With Dr. Albin and their staff I know my pets are in excellent hands and will have the best care!!

I have had pets my entire life, they are members of my family. Albin Animal Hospital is by far the BEST Veterinary Hospital to which I have ever taken my pets. They are professional, compassionate and their clinical expertise is tremendous. I know, that if I have a question, I can call or if I have a sick pet they will fit him or her in as soon as possible. Not only do I trust them with the lives of my furry babies but I've trusted them to educate my oldest daughter through volunteerism. I simply cannot say enough good things about Dr. Albin, Dr. Marcy, Dr, Snow, Dr. Kate, Jill, Michele, Erica, Ricky, Molly, Kallie, Melissa and the entire staff.

I have been taking my pets to Albin Animal Hospital for a very long time. I just love the staff and doctors, they are such a wonderful and caring staff. The Staff and Doctors has always been kind and friendly to me and my pets. They always go above and beyond for their patients even if it just carrying out a bag of food to your car. I tell everyone that Albin Animal Hospital is great you must take your pet there. There is no other place for me and my four legged babies. Albin Animal Hospital you Guy ARE ROCK STARS!!!

I brought my animals to the Charleston location, each visit became worse and worse. The staff is not trained properly and has minimal knowledge of anything you should know working in a vets office. One staff member in particular is extremely rude and unfriendly. I had called their emergency line one night and never received a response to my message then I was put at fault and told that I never left a message. On the last visit I had my dog had been treated for an infection and as I asked the vet assistant questions about how to prevent this again, what could cause it, and other question every time she told me she didn't know. A friend had taken their dog to be groomed there and the dog had come back and developed a very deep sore over the next few days on her snout. They are overpriced and provide terrible care for their animals and I would never recommend this place to anyone, I'd have better luck treating my animals myself and diagnosing them from google answers.

We boarded our two dogs here and allowed them to share a run. I had called the week before and confirmed that the price was for the night and that we would not be charged per day. I provided the front desk with the shot records for our dogs which showed they had received their "upper resporitory vaccine" to prevent kennel cough.



When we picked our dogs up the next day, the receptionist attempted to charge us $88! When I asked why our bill was so much she explained that they had to give our dogs a vaccine for kennel cough. I showed the receptionist our shot records which they had been provided to prove our dogs did not need this vaccine. Her response was that the lady that took our dogs to their run did not know how to read the shot record and therefore gave them the vaccine again. No one ever called us to ask for permission to give any vaccines to our dogs.



When she removed the price for the vaccine for our bill it was still too much. They charge per day for boarding and not per night as I had agreed to pay. We were so fed up we just paid for the two days and left. The receptionist was not very apologetic and kept reiterating that it was not her fault and the unauthorized vaccine would not hurt our dogs.



We were very dissappointed in the service we received and the lack of training their staff receive. We are just very glad our dogs are home and didn't receive something that could have hurt them.

Albin Animal Hospital is a fantastic place to take your pets! The entire staff is fantastic. They go above and beyond to help you and your pet.

I have had various animals and various vets and Dr. Albin remains the the most professional, caring veternarian I have ever had. I go to the Charleston clinic and the whole staff couldn't be any more caring and nice. Anyone who could possibly say a bad word about her really needs to examine if she was the problem or most likely you were.

Would never recommend anyone to go here, I have never experience such improfessional service from the Owner and Employee, go elsewhere!!!
