I have to give one star or else this site wont let me post this. Staff is very rude. We paid our rent late by a day since our 6 months baby had a surgery. When my husband informed the same thing to a staff called 'Brittany' so that we get our $100 back she told " he was making up stories." when my husband told she was being rude and that's not how she was supposed to talk to residents other leasing staff (male) came and asked him to not enter the leasing office if he wanted to argue!!! And there are so many things which we have been ignoring, like there is a dishwasher which is so bad it took off all coating from vessels and when we told the maintenance guy he said that's the best we can have!!! there is always some repair/construction work going in my building. Tennis courts are namesake and unplayable. Laundry has some 1000 years old washer and dryer!!! and very untidy!! We lost our money twice over there. And staff will be nice to you only till you come and join the apartment.

Horrible horrible place to live. Office is completely incompetent. If you can't find a job and are completely useless I suggest going to wok at arbors. If you have a pet don't move there nobody picks up there dogs waste. Maintenance neve gets done. Nothing in gym works. Awful place to live

My fiancé and I have lived at Arbors at Brookfield for 2 years, and it has just been one thing after another. We picked these apartments largely because it was a "gated community". Over the whole 2 years we've been here, the gates have worked a total of MAYBE 3 months. Our A/C has stopped working 8 times. Literally 8. Each time, we've told them that it needs to be replaced because it's 20+ years old and leaking, but instead they put more freon in it, which lasts about two months. It also takes about a week for anyone to fix it, even in the middle of the summer when it's unbearable without A/C. Our heater stopped working back in January, and that was another two week fix. One month we went to pay our rent in the afternoon after work, and they had closed early that day without notice. We tried to pay it the next day, but because it was one day late because THEY weren't in the office the day before, we were forced to pay a $100 late fee, even though we had never paid our rent late a single month. We are finally moving out and have been screwed again because we were told when we called that we didn't need to do anything to move out, and were then told 3 days before our lease ended that we were supposed to sign a 60 day notice. So we are now paying rent that's $200 more a month, for the next two months, for an apartment that we do not live in anymore. It's cheaper than some other apartments, but you get what you pay for with this one.

I hate hate hate this place the only good thing about the apt is the grounds which are very well maintained. When you look at the apts you think it's great until you move in! The appliances are old as dirt! And whomever they have clean the apts before you move in needs serious training. I have been here 4 months in the 2nd month the air broke I call it takes maintenance forever to come check things. They called themselves fixing it and on a Sunday in the middle of June it breaks again a week I was with out air! Now I'm dealing with a air conditioning system that runs all day and a 230 plus light bill! I moved here to save money and ended up paying 300.00 more monthly than were I was! At this point breaking the least is all I can think if doing. Try Lexington Place or renting a house you will pay more but be happy in the long run.

Awful complex - the management never actually fixes anything! We had a leak for months and called but it never got fixed. Poor staff!!
