We have been coming here for over 13 years for our anniversary. They are a cowboy rustic style cabins with fireplaces, microwave oven, refrigerator and 💓 heart-shaped jacuzzi tub in every cabin. The place is under new ownership and we really like what they have done to improve this 15 year old property. They have poured a concrete walkway down to the lower "Creekside" cabins. (The front desk said that they had several flash floods this summer but it is usually dry. Only one time in our visits was there water in the creek.) The restaurant is 300x better than before. They have dimmed the lights and added candles on each table. The food is wonderful with steaks grilled to your perfection and a great bar. The waitress was great even when she was having a hard night! (She broke the blender and cut her hand) but very attentive, energetic and informative server. Love having the restaurant/bar on the property so no drinking and driving! They are pet friendly with lots of trails for hiking. Five stars for this cute, quaint preserve cabins. Just remember that it's not a 5 star resort. If you want to enjoy the weekend with the cooler weather these cabins would be for you!
